Scripted Sunday Festival of Short Plays: June 7, 2020 (SINCE THE COTUIT CENTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED, THE DATE MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.) Main Stage at Cotuit Center for the Arts.
Plays should be no longer than 16 minutes, and have no more than six characters.
Submitted plays have to have been shopped at the lab previous to being submitted.
The set will be minimal - chairs and maybe a small folding table. A Presenter will introduce the plays as well as introduce the characters, setting, time, etc. There will be some blocking (we hope to not be reading from music stands) and house lights can be dimmed. Actors will be in costume if possible.
All plays will be directed by James and Jean Anton, assisted by playwrights and playwright lab members.
The deadline for submitting your play WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS SOON AS WE KNOW THAT THE COTUIT CENTER IS OPEN.
Use the submission form to formally submit the play.
Invited playwrights will be notified AS SOON AS THE CCFTA OPENS AND THE SCRIPTED SUNDAY SERIES IS BACK ON TRACK.
Rehearsal Process begins soon after.
